Gay Sporting in Philadelphia
Don’t filter your Grindr preference to find the jocks of Philadelphia, join a team to play with them in person! City of Brotherly Love Softball League has been around since the 80’s and is the oldest softball league in Philadelphia. Additionally, Stonewall offers several sporting options ranging from billiards to dodgeball. Although my sister isn’t gay, she thrives in the City of Brotherly Love league. In fact, she is a two time MVP for the Flaming Poodles and the Buck Fuddies.
After every event, teams that went toe-to-toe come together to enjoy a post-game celebration at one of the bars in the gayborhood. These leagues allow for Philadelphians to meet others in the LGBT community outside of the Grindr and bar scene.
